Sun Aviation Suport is EASA Part 145 approved (RO.145.044) since 2017, for borescope inspections for CFM 56-3/-5/-7 series. In 2024, we extended the certification for V2500 series – Rolls-Roys aircraft engines.
Upon our client’s technical documentation, we can provide reports (no EASA Form 1 release for the moment) for other aircraft equipments (for example APU’s), or for Pratt & Whitney engines.
One of our future projects is to extend the license for APU’s and Pratt & Whitney aircraft engines.
Sun Aviation proudly offers a rich experience in EN4179 testing with initial approval in 2012 by the Romanian CAA (an EASA member) as non-destructive testing and inspection approved arganization with capabilities for Visual – Borescope, Ultrasound, Eddy Current, Magnetic Particle and Liquid Penetrant. In 2024, all our provided services become EASA Part 145 licensed.
Release of EASA Form 1 concludes a process certifying the engine’s or the particular aircraft component continued serviceability (for example: attachment bolts, wing-fuselage joints, different skin zones, wheel hubs etc.).
Approved test reports are released (together with EASA Form 1 certification) to customers and tracking of equipment behaviour is also available enabling air operators to optimize material utilization and cost.
